The family of a man who died when he and his son were hit by a coach in Saddleworth has described him as "irreplaceable".

Alan Chamberlain, 57, was trapped under the vehicle at the end of Oldham's Saddleworth Band Contest on 28 May.

The father-of-five, whose eight-year-old son suffered severe bruising, was described as someone "who made friends wherever he went".

His wife Tracy said: "He spent his last day doing things that made him happy."

Mr Chamberlain had three grown-up sons from his first marriage, two step-children, and young sons, Zac, 8 and Harry, 2.
