Two men arrested over ferry drugs


Two men have been arrested after drugs with a street value of more than £21,000 were seized at a Shetland ferry terminal.

The men were detained at Holmsgarth terminal in Lerwick on Thursday.

A 47-year-old man appeared at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Friday where he was remanded in custody, following the seizure of £5,000 worth of Class A drugs.

A 39-year-old man has now been arrested after drugs worth £16,500 were seized.

He is due to appear at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday.
