A man died and his son was injured when they were hit by a coach during a band contest in Greater Manchester.
The 57-year-old father was trapped under the vehicle at the end of Oldham's Saddleworth Band Contest at 2200 BST on Friday.
His eight-year-old son was left with severe bruising and a broken tooth and is in hospital receiving treatment.
Mary Rodgers, who is on the contest committee, said: "We are all really shaken up and upset about it."
She added: "We were horrifed when we heard the news late last night, it really took the cream off a wonderful evening It's a tragedy."
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
