A pedestrian killed when she was hit by a refuse lorry in a Norfolk town has been named by police as the stepmother of a local council leader.
Judith Daubney, 65, from Queensway, King's Lynn, sustained serious head injuries when she was hit by the lorry on Railway Road on Wednesday afternoon.
She was stepmother to Nick Daubney, leader of King's Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council.
Mr Daubney described her as a "very vivacious lady".
"She loved people, she loved being with people. She had a lot of friends," he added.
