The men, aged 21 and 33 and both from London, have been bailed until 25 June pending further inquiries.

Surrey Police said the pair were arrested on Thursday evening and questioned at Reigate Police station.

Officers have been investigating four reports of men approaching girls in Warlingham, Caterham and Whyteleafe.

The incidents, on the border of Surrey and south west London, took place between 13 and 20 May. None of the youngsters was hurt.

After the incidents, officers from both Surrey Police and the Metropolitan Police urged youngsters to follow safety advice and report any suspicious activity.
