A jury in the trial of two teenagers accused of killing a woman by pushing a firework through her letterbox has retired for a third night.

Mary Fox, 59, died in a fire at her home in Wallace Road, Bodmin, Cornwall, on 5 November 2009.

Verdict deliberations will resume on Friday into the cases of Owen Hewitt, 18, of Kestenenn, and 17-year-old Samuel Luckes, from Bodmin.

They have both denied charges of manslaughter and arson.

Mrs Fox's 17-year-old son, Raum, escaped by jumping from a bedroom window.
