Charges after drugs arrests in Lancashire and Cumbria


Two people have been charged after police in Lancashire and Cumbria carried out drugs raids.

Officers arrested nine people in Preston, Barrow and Kendal on suspicion of drugs offences on Tuesday.

A 24-year-old woman was charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply, police said.

A 33-year-old man, of no fixed abode, has since been charged with possessing class A and B drugs with intent to supply.

The seven other people arrested have been bailed pending further enquiries, police said.
