Seven people have been arrested and drugs seized in a series of police raids across Plymouth.

Police in Devon said the raids on six addresses across the city on Wednesday were part of an operation targeting a drugs-supply gang.

Officers recovered about 3kg of amphetamines, 0.5kg of herbal cannabis, numerous pills and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Four men and three women, aged between 28 and 48, were arrested.

Six of them were released on police bail and the seventh has been cautioned for possessing a Class B drug.
