Dunkirk airman from Laugharne recalls targeting tanks


More than 50 small ships and boats are making their way from Ramsgate to the French coast to recreate the biggest rescue operation in British history, the evacuation of Dunkirk.

It is the 70th anniversary of Operation Dynamo which led to more than 300,000 soldiers being evacuated, as the German army advanced across Europe.

Gilbert John met former air gunner Les Davies, from Laugharne, Carmarthenshire, one of the veterans of that event.
