Boy, 11, seriously injured in Cardiff road collision


An 11-year-old boy has suffered serious injuries in a collision with a car in Cardiff, say South Wales Police.

The incident, involving a black Mercedes, happened in Pentrebane Road in the Fairwater area of the city at about 2030 BST on Wednesday .

The boy was taken to the University Hospital Wales, Cardiff. Police said his condition was not critical.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to get in touch.
