Hundreds of letters protesting against a travellers' site have been delivered to a council in a tractor.
Residents are angry at travellers developing land in Meriden in the West Midlands without planning permission.
They have been manning a 24-hour barricade at the field since the travellers moved in there earlier this month.
Last week Solihull Council won a High Court injunction to stop further building work.
The travellers submitted a planning application ahead of a Bank Holiday weekend.
The council is still to consider the application.
Friends, Families and Travellers (FFT), which works on behalf of travellers, called for planning permission to be granted.
Residents went to Solihull Council offices on Tuesday.
