A passenger in a car in which police found cannabis plants with a street value of £25,000 has been jailed for nearly three years.
Alain Nguyen, 54, a prisoner in Dumfries, admitted being concerned in the supply of the drug in January 2008.
The offence was committed at the Annandale Water Service Station on the A74(M) near Johnstonebrigde.
He also admitted breaching a bail condition and was jailed for a total of 35 months.
Nguyen pled guilty to the drugs offence on the second day of a trial at Dumfries Sheriff Court.
The jury had heard that a total of 95 plants were taken from the car after it was checked by police.
