Saturday’s five-hour marathon of world class athletics continues with live day one coverage of the Anniversary Games from the London Stadium, the home of both the 2012 Olympics, Paralympics and last year’s World Championships, with several of the sport’s biggest superstars in action.

The event is considered one of the most highly-rated IAAF Diamond League meetings on the circuit, and year on year attracts stellar names.

The men’s 100m is one of the highlights on the first day of action as the event looks to its next generation following Usain Bolt’s retirement. The race will be positively bursting with young talent, including American sensation Christian Coleman, who is returning to the scene of his World Championship silver medal last year. He faces - among others - Canada’s triple Olympic medallist Andre De Grasse and numerous members of Great Britain’s 4x100m relay World Championship gold medal-winning squad.

Other races taking place include the women’s 100m, men’s 400m, both the men’s and women’s 400m hurdles and the men’s pole vault.

There will also be a host of Para athletics stars on display including British sprinters Libby Clegg and Richard Whitehead.

Coverage is presented by Gabby Logan with commentary and expert analysis from Steve Cram, Andrew Cotter, Paula Radcliffe, Steve Backley, Michael Johnson and 2012 Olympic heptathlon champion Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill.
