Opening the show for 2019 is a special performance from Big The Musical. Jay McGuinness, Kimberley Walsh, Matthew Kelly and Wendi Peters take to the stage and kick off the night with a bang… plus Zoltar and a giant piano!
EastEnders stars Ricky Champ, Louisa Lytton, Maisie Smith and Rudolph Walker OBE will be taking to the dancefloor alongside the Strictly professionals.
Ricky will be dancing with Luba Mushtuk; Louisa will be dancing with Gorka Marquez; Maisie will take to the floor with Kevin Clifton and Rudolph will be partnered with Nancy Xu. The stars will compete in a group number, choreographed by former Strictly professional Trent Whiddon, in a bid to be crowned champions.
Graham Norton’s Big Red Chair
BBC Children In Need are taking over The Graham Norton Show studio for a special edition of the Big Red Chair.
Graham’s sofa guests are three young carers who are deserving of a treat and some of their favourite celebrities and adults linked to their everyday lives tell a joke in the Big Red Chair. The twist? The kids have control of the lever and will ultimately decide whether the jokes that are told are good enough to let them walk, or whether the line-up of celebrities will get flipped.
The Hit List
Marvin and Rochelle Humes host a BBC Children In Need special of their Saturday night music quiz, The Hit List, featuring a number of artists that have previously performed on official BBC Children In Need singles.
Joining them are three celebrity teams who will each compete in pairs for a chance to crowned The Hit List Children In Need Champions. Taking part in the fun is hip-hop artist Wretch 32 who is paired with former JLS member JB Gill; Heidi Range from the Sugababes will be competing with Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle and Michelle Heaton from Liberty X will be paired with Blue’s very own Antony Costa.
BBC Children In Need: Got It Covered
Last month, BBC Children In Need: Got It Covered was broadcast on BBC One. The 90-minute entertainment documentary charts the making of the album Got It Covered and the stellar cast includes Helena Bonham Carter CBE, Jim Broadbent, Olivia Colman CBE, Shaun Dooley, Luke Evans, Suranne Jones, Adrian Lester OBE, Himesh Patel, David Tennant and Jodie Whittaker.
Some of the a-list stars from the doc will be in the studio on the night to talk about the project and there will be a special performance of a track from the album.
England football team visit
England’s Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling join Mark Wright in surprising children from the England Amputee Football Association, one of the many organisations that have received funding from BBC Children In Need.

For one night only, presenters Sam and Mark bring the show live to the BBC Children In Need studio - expect lots of stunts and slime!
Tina: The Tina Turner Musical
The cast of the Tina Turner Musical are hot-stepping into the studio straight from the West End for a special performance.
There will be lots of great music throughout part one including performances from global popstar Louis Tomlinson and award-winning singing sensations, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe.
During part two of the show there’ll be music from legendary boyband, Westlife.

Throughout the night, viewers will be able to see what’s happening in their area as the BBC national and regional TV stations will be shining a light on a whole host of activities all in aid of BBC Children In Need.
Dragons Den Does I’ll Get This: Children In Need Special
At 10pm viewers can switch over to BBC Two where the fun continues in a very special edition of the comedy game involving celebrities and a dinner bill, I’ll Get This.
Five celebrities meet at a restaurant for a fancy meal, they have to play games between courses and the loser will have to pay for everyone's dinner… the catch? This time there are five Dragon’s on board and a twist in store!
Taking part in this BBC Children In Need special are current Dragons’, Peter Jones, Tej Lalvani, Touker Suleyman and Sara Davies. Plus, former Dragon Sarah Willingham returns for one night only as she reunites with her old Den pals.
Some well-known faces will be introducing the all-important BBC Children In Need Appeal films.
