All Together Now
The Grand Final - BBC One, Saturday 13 April
It was so intense - you could hear a needle drop. Wait, is that also an expression in your country? You know what I mean right?Britt
Song that got you to the final:
Never Enough - The Greatest Showman
Did you watch your episode, what was the response from your family and friends?
I did! It was such a crazy experience! We watched it on a big screen on a rooftop terrace at Fest Camden! It was so lovely that my friends came to support and watched it with me. My family and Dutch friends watched it on TV in the Netherlands at the same time. Everyone was so excited and I got lots of lovely messages.
Did you get to know your fellow finalists?
Yes we did. Most of us are actually friends now. We got on really well. It is such a nice group of people, everyone is really supportive. It is crazy how such a stressful situation just gives you that instant connection! #alltogethernow
Song for the final, and why you chose it?
The song that I sang in the final was Anything For Love - Meat Loaf. I was excited to sing it. It is such a classic.
How did you feel backstage before you performed in the final?
Everyone was really nice, and we had a great group number to break the ice with, which was so much fun. After that it was a bit nerve wracking, but I told myself, just enjoy and sing. That is all I can do, the rest is out of my control.
What was the atmosphere like when you walked out in front of The 100?
It was so intense - you could hear a needle drop. Wait, is that also an expression in your country? You know what I mean right?
What/who is your favourite all time song and/or artist?
I don't have one favourite artist. I love getting inspiration from different people. Everyone brings something to the table, I try to always be open and learn from those who I see on stage/TV.
