New Year’s Eve Fireworks will be counting down to midnight and bringing audiences around the country all the spectacular action from the firework display from the banks of the river Thames in London.
Bryan Adams says: “I can’t think of a better excuse than New Year’s Eve to put on a big live rock show to see in 2016. It’s going to be a fantastic night.”

The broadcast of the event will be presented by The National Lottery Live host and BBC Breakfast presenter Ore Oduba. Previous New Year’s Eve celebrations - Queen + Adam Lambert in 2014 and Gary Barlow in 2013 - have been the most watched TV music performances of the year.
The concert was commissioned by Charlotte Moore, Controller BBC One, it will be executive produced by Guy Freeman and Cerrie Frost will be series producer.

Bryan Adams has been rocking the UK for four decades. During the past year, the singer/songwriter has been on tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of his album Reckless which spawned six Top 10 singles, including a duet with the iconic Tina Turner. He has been inducted into Wembley's Square of Fame for performing 22 nights at the legendary venue and this autumn released his 22nd album Get Up produced by famed ELO frontman, Jeff Lynne.
