BBC Studios to launch a new content label, TalentWorks

BBC Studios today announced the launch of TalentWorks, a new content label that will identify exciting digital talent with whom BBC Studios can partner to develop a slate of innovative new content and IP.

The new label will be headed by Director of Talent, Paul Hembury and Head of Development, Helen O’Donnell from BBC Studios’ UK division, and builds on their proven success in creating and launching new content with UK premiere league digital stars including Joe Sugg, Caspar Lee, DanTDM, Joe Wicks, and Sam & Nic Chapman. Reporting directly to BBC Studios Chief Creative Officer Mark Linsey, the duo will have scope to work across all genres and platforms to develop new projects with both established and emerging digital talent.

TalentWorks has already announced today its first project, a collaboration with YouTube stars Dan Howell & Phil Lester that will see BBC Studios distribute a broadcast version of their live show, Interactive Introverts that will launch globally on iTunes on 19th November.
