Research and learning
Audiences are at the heart of everything we do at BBC Media Action. To understand our audiences and the impact we have, our work begins and ends with research. To reach the people who most need our programmes, we have to know who they are – how they live, what they believe and the issues that affect them. We need audience insight and feedback to ensure our programmes are appealing, relevant and effective. BBC Media Action has researchers based in 15 countries around the world. Their job is to provide this evidence base that is used to inform, monitor and evaluate our work.
