Useful expressions
1. be willing to take the lead
ਇਸਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਅਹਿਮ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਕਰਨਾ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਿਆਂ ਅਕਸਰ 'in' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ 'ing' ਵੀ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਟੀਚੇ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਲਈ 'on track to meet' ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਲੋਕ ਇਹ ਮੰਨ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਕੰਮ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿੱਥੇ ਟੀਚੇ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੀ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। 'Meet' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਸੀਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਂਵ ਲਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇ ਜਾਂ ਟੀਚੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁਝ ਉਦਾਹਰਣਾਂ ਹਨ: are 'goal', 'commitment', 'target' ਜਾਂ 'deadline'.
