Kent's high speed servicesThe first international services from Ebbsfleet International ran on 19th November 2007 and the international Eurostar services take as little as 2hr 5min to reach Paris, 1h 41min to Brussels and just 1h 10min to Lille. Southeastern start new high speed preview services to Ramsgate, Canterbury West, Dover Priory, Folkestone Central and West on 7th September 2009. There are two morning peak services timetabled from Ramsgate via Canterbury West, and two peak services from Dover Priory via Folkestone Central and Folkestone West, with similar return journeys in the evening. All the new services also stop at Ashford International. The BBC is not responsible for the content of external websites Where is Ebbsfleet station?Ebbsfleet International is near Dartford, close to Junction 2 of the M25 and the M20, M2 and A2 routes, and Bluewater shopping centre. The station offers park-and-ride facilities for up to 9,000 vehicles. The station is also central to many of the region's Thames Gateway developments, such as Ebbsfleet Valley, Waterstone Park, Northfleet Embankment and Swanscombe Peninsula. How do I get there by public transport?There is a high-frequency Fastrack bus service linking to local railway stations at Dartford, Greenhithe, Northfleet and Gravesend as well as Bluewater. ![]() The route to St PancrasThere will be 7 daily services between Ebbsfleet International and Paris and 5 in each direction between Ebbsfleet and Brussels. From Ebbsfleet, the new railway passes under the Thames in two 3km (2 mile) single-track tunnels (Thames Tunnel) and emerges in West Thurrock just to the east of the Queen Elizabeth II bridge. The new railway passes beneath the QEII bridge and on towards Stratford International Station and finally St Pancras International.
