How do I use BBC iPlayer on my mobile or tablet?

  • BBC iPlayer app

You can play TV programmes on your mobile or tablet by installing our BBC iPlayer app. We've got advice on how to install our apps in our How do I install and uninstall the BBC iPlayer app on my mobile device? FAQ. If you're using an Amazon Fire or Android device, you'll also need to install the BBC Media Player app.

  •  BBC iPlayer website

You can also use BBC iPlayer by heading to the website on your mobile or tablet's internet browser. Just type in: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer.

You'll need to make sure you're connected to the internet to listen to or view programmes live or on-demand. If you lose connectivity while streaming, you may need to start again. Remember, if you're using an Amazon Fire or Android device, you will need to install the BBC Media Player app.
