Pesto pasta

Pasta pesto has been the saviour of many a student or budget-conscious person. You can eat hot or cold for lunch, and you can add as many bits of veg or leftover meat you have in the house.

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 190C/170C Fan/Gas 5.

  2. Cook the spaghetti according to the packet instructions. Add the kale and peast for the last 1–2 minutes of the cooking time.

  3. Drain the pasta and vegetables and stir through the pesto. Serve.
