Mushrooms on toast

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a large frying pan, then fry the garlic and onion until soft.

  2. Add the mushrooms and cook until soft.

  3. Add the double cream and parsley then season with salt and freshly ground black pepper and reduce until thick.

  4. To serve, drizzle the toast with the olive oil and spoon over the mushroom mixture. Garnish with a pinch of paprika.
