Caramelised red onion and Stilton crostini




  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan, add the red onion and fry over a gentle heat for five minutes until softened.

  2. Add the garlic and sugar and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add the balsamic vinegar and cook for three minutes.

  3. To serve, place the toasted baguette slices onto a serving plate. Top with the caramelised onions and scatter with crumbled Stilton.
