Only Love can break his heart

Exposed to the music of Joni Mitchell, Simon & Garfunkel and Van Morrison from an early age, Howard began his songwriting career in his teens, developing the rootsy melodic folk music that he has become known for.

Although only latterly signed to Island records in 2012, Howard had already self-released a series of EPs and singles, creating a strong fan following, manifesting in sold-out dates across UK and Europe.

His debut album Every Kingdom was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize and Howard himself was awarded best ‘British Breakthrough Act’ and ‘British Solo Male Artist‘ of the year at the BRIT Awards.
