Example burst onto the British music scene as a rapper, who like Professor Green was signed to Mike Skinner’s Beats label. His debut album ‘What We Made’ was released in 2007, followed by 2010’s ‘Won’t Go Quietly’, which featured production input from MJ Cole, Calvin Harris, Chase & Status, and Björn Yttling (of Peter Bjorn and John)

The album gave him two top ten hits ‘Kickstarts’ and ‘Won’t Go Quietly’. In 2011 Example dominated the airwaves with ‘Playing in the Shadows’ which shot straight to number one and featured the hits ‘Stay Awake’ and ‘Midnight Run’. Example also featured on Calvin Harris’ #2 hit ‘We’ll be coming Back’ in 2012.

He went on to collaborate with Pet Shop Boys on their song ‘Thursday’ from their 2013 studio album ‘Electric’.

On his fifth album ‘Live Life Living’ he worked with producers Critikal, Stuart Price, and Fraser T. Smith . The LP was released on the 30th of June.
