Stooshe are a three-piece British R&B girl group that originate from London, United Kingdom. The group, consisting of Alexandra Buggs, Karis Anderson and Courtney Rumbold.

Karis Anderson revealed that the band's name originates from the word 'Stoosh', an urban term used to describe something that is 'expensive', but also describes 'a girl who thinks she's nicer than she is'; it can also mean being stoned or stashed away.
