Bringing the Summer Sun to Balado

After a twelve year hiatus, Texas return to T to take part in the festival’s 20th anniversary celebrations.

They made their festival debut way back in 1997, the same year they released hit album “White on Blonde”. They also headlined in 2001.

But it’s been a challenging few years for the band since 2009, when the guitarist Ally McErlaine was hospitalized and nearly died as the result of a massive brain aneurism.

Now fighting fit, Ally rejoined the band for the recording of “The Conversation” – the group's first studio album of original material since 2005, and this homecoming gig of sorts is sure to feature plenty of singalong classics from their repertoire.
