    But Greg has only praise for Joe: "The difference is I've been on half an hour and you've been going for 12 hours, so that's an Olympic level lesson from you, Joe."

  3. A call from Grandma Wicks

    "Joe, hello mate. How are you doing?" Yes, that's Joe's actual grandmother on the line on Trevor Nelson's Radio 2 show.

    "I've been thinking about you all day. We're so proud of you, darling," she tells her fundraising grandson.

    "Joe has always been like this. If he’s doing something, he’ll do it. If he believes in something, he will keep going. He wants to help people, he really really wants to do it."

    Trevor asks if she’s going to stay up to watch him, and Grandma Wicks says: “I don’t think I can!”

    "I love her to death," Joe says of his nan. Heartwarming stuff.

    Joe's speaking to celeb chef Tom Kerridge, who asks what Joe has been eating to keep himself going.

    Joe says: “I love my food and I’m always eating, but I’ve not had my appetite today. I’m grazing on crumpets, toast, sushi, a bit of fruit… I feel like I’m doing a night shift.”

  10. The 'Sporty Spice Work-Out'

    We all know about Joe Wicks' signature and much-loved work-outs, but what about the 'Sporty Spice Work-Out'? That's what we're being treated to now as Spice Girls' own Mel C joins Joe for a 15 minute work-out.

    "I've always been really active," Mel says, adding that she got involved with Joe's lockdown PE classes with her daughter.

  12. Four for Joe

    Joe has just kicked off his fourth (yes, FOURTH!) live exercise of the day. Starting with some circling of the arms and toe touches, we're now onto some running and punching.

    "I'm feeling a bit achey and tight in certain parts," Joe says. "I need to pace myself!"

    But don't think Joe will be slacking though. "I'm fresh and ready to go!", he adds.

    Joe, also known as The Body Coach, has been a regular visitor to Radio 2 over the years, sharing his tips for healthy living and exercise.

    Earlier this year, he made headlines as the nation's virtual PE teacher, leading home workouts that helped ensure kids (and parents) keep fit during lockdown - and keeping up the country's morale in the process.

    He was recently awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list, and has interviewed a range of top names, including Louis Theroux, Robin Arzón, Tim Peake, and Radio 2's Sounds of the 90s host Fearne Cotton for The Joe Wicks Podcast, available now on BBC Sounds.
