Concert Information
When the imagination of Lewis Carroll met the glittering, fantastical sound-world of Unsuk Chin, the result was always going to be magical – and, since its premiere in 2007, Chin’s Alice in Wonderland has become one of the most talked-about operas of recent years. Following her stunning, critically acclaimed Barbican production of Britten’s Curlew River, director Netia Jones returns to direct this first UK production which promises to be exhilarating, hilarious, wild and visually eye-popping.
Please note this concert is not suitable for children under the age of 12
Produced by the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Barbican.
