Classroom Ideas

The class could go out into their local environment to look for patterns in nature. They could take photographs and then produce a series of drawings or paintings based on these organic forms. Pupils could play around with some of the patterns and shapes they have identified, simplifying and duplicating the images, to produce a design for a light fixture. They could then recreate some of their designs in three dimensions using wire, paper and tissue.
