Classroom Ideas

Excellent preparation for debating any topic. Students can note key phrases used for both agreeing and disagreeing. These can then be used in both speaking and writing tasks. In a debate situation, students can be given phrases on cards, which they must "play" each time they add a comment to the debate. The student how manages to "play" all their cards first, is the winner.
