Classroom Ideas

Can be used as a listening task for the jobs and employment topic, ideally as a gap-fill or with multiple-choice questions. Particularly suited to helping students express why people enjoy their jobs, as well as providing key vocabulary for dangerous jobs and mountain rescue work in particular. Could be used to model interviews with people about the challenges they face at work, e.g. in preparation for a piece of speaking or writing about jobs and careers.
