Classroom Ideas

Pupils can be given their own paper 'planks of wood' along with their own shelving unit. They could also be given a ruler or tape measure. They would then be instructed to watch the clip carefully to find out how to do this properly and then asked to measure each plank of wood and each shelf gap. Where the wood is too big to fit into the gap, pupils can be asked to measure it off to the correct length and cut it accordingly.
