Classroom Ideas

Discuss with the class about different types of drums and get the children to find different drums in the classroom of different size and pitch. Talk about string instruments and highlight that the shorter and thinner the string the higher the sound. Invite children or parents who learn or perform traditional Indian music to perform to the class.
