Richard plays Luke French in Holby Blue, having previously starred as Allan Woodcourt in 2005’s hit drama Bleak House.
Other credits include Gunpowder, Treason and Plot, the Antonia Bird-directed dramas Care and Rehab.
He also guested in several episodes of Spooks' third series, as well as Dalziel and Pascoe and Silent Witness.
Richard had a brief stint in Coronation Street, playing Owen Williams, who unsuccessfully tried to woo Janice Battersby away from then husband Les.
He's appeared in several films and stage productions, and narrated the 1998 BBC documentary Human Traffic.
