"An early concept that just tried to sum up the ambition of Dreamland. Note the Doctor in his brown suit - I requested the change to blue to contrast with the autumnal colour palette of the story. If he's stayed in brown, he'd have faded into the sand and desert too easily. In blue, he shines like a beacon. And it makes a 'team' of him and his TARDIS." Gary Russell
