Tonight, at 6.40pm, like millions of other viewers, we'll be watching The End of Time, Part Two.
It's David Tennant's final episode and it's also the last for Executive Producer and Lead Writer Russell T Davies and Executive Producer Julie Gardner. All of us at the Doctor Who website would like to thank them for all their help, encouragement and inspiration throughout the past five years.
David Tennant has been unstinting in his willingness to give up his time for many online projects and whether he's been cold and wet in the middle of an exhausting shoot or stuck in a baking hot desert, he has been remarkable, helping us out with a gusto and charisma that we see mirrored on-screen in his brilliant portrayal of the Tenth Doctor.
Julie Gardner has already moved to Los Angeles and we already miss her. She has spent hours and days working with us on videos, interviews and commentaries. She's one of those people who doesn't simply go the extra mile - she goes the extra marathon and does so with unerring judgment, good humour and charm.
And finally, Russell T Davies. We all know that Russell is one of the finest writers of his generation and the person who more than anybody revived Doctor Who back in 2005. But we would like to thank him for something else - for basically being one of the kindest and most approachable people any of us has ever worked with.
Doctor Who is a huge series that has demanded his time virtually 24/7 since 2004. But despite those demands he has always found time to guide us, encourage us and make sure we never lose our passion for Doctor Who. Not for a single Rel!
When Doctor Who blazed back onto our screens in 2005 we were promised 'the trip of a lifetime'. David, Russell and Julie - you certainly delivered! Thanks for the journey, thanks for being so brilliant and good luck wherever your future travels take you.
With best wishes from all of us here on the site, past and present.
