The Doctor is back in action in The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith! The third story of the third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures starts on Thursday and sees everyone's favourite Time Lord make his long-anticipated return. And the good news is that the Doctor's appearance isn't a short cameo or brief flashback as he's a full-on part of this exciting new story!
It features the usual Bannerman Road team plus Nigel Havers as Peter Dalton and a closer look at the credits reveals K-9 is back! Well, how could you leave him out of Sarah Jane's big day? The story was written by Gareth Roberts (The Shakespeare Code, The Unicorn and the Wasp) and directed by Joss Agnew (The Last Sontaran, The Mark of the Berserker, Prisoner of the Judoon).
The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith begins at 16:35 on Thurs, 29th October on BBC One with the second and concluding episode of the adventure on the following day, again at 16:35.
And newsflash! Russell T Davies, Executive Producer of The Sarah Jane Adventures and Elizabeth Sladen who, of course, plays Sarah Jane, will be appearing on BBC One's Breakfast on Thursday morning! They'll be talking about The Sarah Jane Adventures and the Doctor's appearance on the show.
