David Tennant At The National Television Awards

  •

The producers of this year's National Television Awards have kindly allowed us to host David Tennant's moving speech from the recent ceremony.

Live from Stratford, David accepted the award for Outstanding Drama Performance, before announcing that he will leave Doctor Who after five more thrilling special adventures.

The specials, starting with Christmas highlight The Next Doctor, will continue throughout 2009 and early 2010.

Head on over to our dedicated section to see the speech, a special interview that goes into David's reasons for moving on in more depth and an exciting preview of The Next Doctor, featuring the return of the Cybermen.

Thanks to National Television Awards 2008, Indigo Television, for giving us permission to use the clip, which will stay on the site until 12 November 2008.
