Trask stands at the door of the hold while Grey hovers behind him, clasping some parchments. 'A mark of clemency from his most gracious Majesty King George,' announces Trask. He tells the prisoners, 'It is ordained that there will be those required as witnesses. Those not wanting to turn King's evidence will be hanged.'
