The Guard Captain tells Salamander he has remembered where he first saw Astrid – in the park, talking to Jamie and Victoria. "I want to know where she comes from," says Salamander. "Let her escape but have her followed. Frighten her away." He adds that he will deal with Jamie and Victoria.
