Robert Webb![]() Currently incarnating the relaxed and artistic spirit of the Mac opposite partner David Mitchell's anally retentive PC, Robert Webb is actually the more considered, the quieter, and the more versatile actor of the pair. Since beginning their work together Mitchell and Webb have become a contender for the title of Next Big Thing. Writing for sketch formats such as Big Train and Armstrong and Miller, Webb along with Mitchell then took to the screens themselves in sketch show Bruiser, as well as doing one of the few amusing Comedy Labs on Channel 4. Most of Webb's work – the now-gigantic Mitchell and Webb series (Situation, Sound and most recently That Mitchell and Webb Look on BBC2) as well as playing Jeremy in Peep Show, has been with Mitchell. His wider career as an actor has seen him working most significantly in The Smoking Room as the possibly-gay Robin, having a very naked time of it in Confetti, and opposite Ardal O'Hanlon in Ben Elton's Blessed.
