Sacha joined the National Lottery Community Fund in 2009 and has occupied various roles. She is currently Senior Head of Regional Funding and responsible for end to end grant making for London and South East England, responsible for an annual grant commitment of c£90m and an active grant portfolio of c£250m.  Sacha also previously served a five year term as Chair of the grant making committee for BBC Children in Need for London and the South East. Sacha started her professional life in Social Services working in the areas of mental health and learning disability.  She latterly took up a Research Associate position at University of East Anglia exploring Social Work practice in safeguarding children suffering from, or at risk of significant harm. Sacha has spent over 10 years as a grant maker and a further ten years involved in the voluntary and community sector, and the statutory sector. 

Sacha is a Clore Social Leadership Fellow and a Trustee of London Funders.
