- Melt the butter in a mug in the microwave for 30 seconds
- Now, add the sugar, egg and flour (in that order) to the melted butter and beat until smooth
- Add one spoonful of jam and then microwave for around 2 minutes (keep checking to make sure it doesn't overflow)
- Serve sprinkled with a little more sugar and a dollop of jam - be careful because your doughnut will be VERY HOT!
Wait for a little while before you tuck in to make sure it's not too hot!
Remember: this is just an occasional treat. Don’t forget to eat plenty of fruit and vegetables too!
