An epic adventure based on an ancient and mythical tale is coming to CBBC, The New Legends of Monkey. Follow in the footsteps of Tripitaka, the Monkey King, Sandi and Pigsy as they take on demonic forces and battle for good.

500 years ago, a great battle took place between gods and demons and now the forces of evil rule over humans, the gods are lost, in hiding and their powers failing. With a great darkness approaching can one human girl, together with the Monkey King and her friends regain their powers and balance the world once more?

    the guy who plays the monkey king is also in a show called mako mermaids which I use to watch when I was little

    Tbh, this sounds more or less the same fantasy style thing as Mystic and Heirs of the Night. Fantasy can be good, but I'd prefer if they added some different style shows to CBBC now. And just the title, "Legends of Monkey", kind of sounds funny even if they didn't mean it to be.

    hasnt this already been out? This has been on Netflix for ages and I've already seen it, is it just going to be showing the episodes off netflix..?
