I think this a brilliant way to make awareness to kids/teenagers about plastic in our oceans. This is a massive thing now and soon we wont be able to go in the sea for the amount of plastic, if no one littered again and picked up 5 pieces of litter every time we went to the beach or anywhere we could end this phenomenon.

did you know?
-plastic takes 200 years to decompose and the first ever piece of plastic was made around 90 years ago so it's still around right now!
-some rivers all over the world look like a heap of plastic since there is more plastic than water there!
-straws are one of the worst threats to wildlife so to avoid harming the planet and still being able to suck milkshakes, you can use paper, metal or wooden straws instead!(you can buy metal straws with the cleaner from Amazon)

this is an amazing thing to do and my whole school is joining in on the action since we've made a club and the teacher who created it has a different them each week. we're done a theme called Plastic- not so fantastic and I think it's horrible that we are making our seas full of rubbish which is slowly killing wildlife! the next generation after us might only be able to see what a turtle is in a history book!!!
