13th September 2019

This week, post of the week has been awarded to brothers Brandon, 7, and Jak, 9, from Hampshire. They loved our episode from the National Space Centre, so they created a moon landing moving model and a poster full of facts! We think they are brilliant, so Brandon and Jak are now proud owners of Silver badges!

Brandon has used lots of recycled items to make his scene. The Apollo 11 space ship is made from a super glue bottle, wrapped in foil! We love the cute, detailed drawings of Lindsey, Henry and Richie on the top.

The planets are made from bouncy balls, a squashy ball and a polystyrene ball! Using a golf ball for the Moon was a genius idea, it really looks like it is covered in craters, like the real thing!

Jak's poster is also great! We particularly like the drawing of the Apollo 11 rocket, it looks really accurate! The facts are also fascinating, and it was a fun idea to hide them under the planets.

Send in your creations!
