This week's show features the first part of a celebration of the Independent Music Award winning compilation album Blodeugerdd: Song of the Flowers - an Anthology of Welsh Music and Song. The compiler and producer of the album, acknowledged authority on traditional Welsh music, Ceri Rhys Matthews, joins us to tell us about how the album was commissioned by Smithsonian Folkways; how the album was recorded; and various other aspects of this fascinating and beautiful album.
