Lucie Jones, the X Factor contestant from Pentyrch in Cardiff, joined Radio Wales' Mel Doel to discuss her time on the show.

"I got to do a one-on-one masterclass [with Whitney Houston] and when she walked into the room I just literally stopped breathing! I was, like, oh my god!" she told Doel.

She also commented on the disparity between the X Factor "bubble" and the real world: "I think a couple of weeks ago when Stephen Gately passed away we all just realised that we're living in an X Factor bubble and when something like that happens externally... it wasn't about X Factor any more... it put it all into perspective."
